Welcome to our Religious Education webpage! Our Director of Education is Peggy Sinanian. Peggy can be reached at 706-632-5970 for any questions you may have in enrolling your child in CCD or if you are an adult wanting to enter our RCIA program.
Religious Education is offered for children from first grade through 9th grade. We meet every Sunday morning from September through May prior to the 11:00 am Mass.
Confirmation classes are held at the same time period for those in the 9th and 10th grade. The sacrament is conferred at that time due to Archdiocean policy. Pentecost Sunday is the usual date for this sacrament.
First Communion is usually held on Mother`s Day of each year.
RCIA is for adults interested in joining the church. Please call Peggy Sinanian at 706-632-5970 for information. RCIA classes start in September culminating at the Easter vigil where the appropriate sacraments will be conferred.
Youth Group is for all children 13 years of age and older. We urge them to join St. Anthony`s Youth Group. The Youth Group meets on a regular basis for praise and prayer, instructions and activities. The outings will be local, or as part of the Archdiocean wide programs. Parental participation is necessary to make our efforts successful.
